Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha found himself in a rather tough spot after a Twitter user said that she “wants” him and “not electricity” in a post on social media on July 31. Soon after, Raghav posted a witty response for the user named Kirti Thakur and his reply, needless to mention, has gone viral on the internet.

It all started after Twitter user Gurdeep Guru urged citizens to vote AAP to power in Punjab to get free electricity. In response to Gurdeep’s post, Kirti Thakur tweeted, “I want Raghav. Not electricity.”

Well, Raghav Chadha did take note of Kirti Thakur’s post and responded with reference to Delhi Chief Minister and AAP's National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, saying, “I'm not on the manifesto, but free electricity is. Vote for Kejriwal and I promise you’ll get free electricity, 24x7. Can’t commit the same about myself though.”

Raghav Chadha’s response has gone viral on social media with over 1700 likes and several retweets. Social media users posted hilarious replies in the comments section.

In June, Arvind Kejriwal had announced that free electricity will be provided to all in Punjab if AAP wins the 2022 election and forms the government in the state. Assembly Elections in Punjab are scheduled to be held in February or March next year.
