 Also known as the" Oracle of Omaha, " Warren Buffett is an investment guru and one of the richest and most respected businessmen in the world. 

Who Is Warren Buffett? 

Warren Buffett showed sharp business skills in his youth. Buffett Founded Partnership Ltd. From 1956 to 1965, he took control of Berkshire Hathaway. Having overseen the growth of a conglomerate with interests in media, insurance, energy, and the food industry, Buffett became one of the world's richest men and a well-known philanthropist. 


Early Life 

Warren Edward Buffett was born on August 30, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. Buffett's father, Howard, worked as a stockbroker and served as a U.S. Congressman. His mother, Alina Stahl Buffett, was a homemaker. Buffett was the second of three children and the only boy. In his youth, he showed dexterity in the financial and business spheres: friends and acquaintances said that the boy was a mathematical prodigy who could fit huge columns of numbers in his head, he had a talent that he showed in the following years. 


Buffett went to his father's brokerage shop as a child, chalking down stock prices on a whiteboard in his office. At the age of 11, he made his first investment in buying three preferred shares of Cities Service Preferred for $ 38 per share in cash. The stock plummeted to $27, but Buffett held on until it hit $40. He sold his shares at a small profit, but regretted his decision when Cities Service rose to almost $ 200 a share. Later, he cited the experience as the first lesson in patience in investing. 




The First Is An Entrepreneurial Enterprise 

At the age of 13, Buffett ran his own business as a newspaper supplier and sold his own tips for racing. That same year, he won his first tax return, claiming that his bike was $ 35 in tax. In 1942, Buffett's father was elected to the United States House of Representatives, and his family moved to Fredricksburg, Virginia, to be closer to the new congressional position. Buffett attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, where he continued to develop new ways to make money. Influenced by Graham's 1949 book, Buffett's "Smart Investor," he sold securities to for Buffett-Falk & Company for three years and worked with his mentor for two years as an analyst at Graham-Newman Corp. (nasdaq: msft.

Berkshire Hathaway 

In 1956, in his hometown of Omaha, he founded the Buffett Partnership, Ltd. Using the method learned from Graham, he was successful in identifying undervalued companies and was expected to become a millionaire. Each such venture, Buffett said, was rated as a textile company called Berkshire Hathaway. He began building reserves in the early 1960s, and in 1965 assumed control of the company. 


Despite the success of the Partnership, Buffett, the company's founder, and the company were dissolved in 1969, focusing on the development of Berkshire Hathaway. It was gradually withdrawn from textile production, instead of growing the business through the purchase of assets in the media (The Washington Post), in an insurance company
